현악밴드 모마드(Momad)는 유목민이란 뜻의 노마드(Nomad)와 음악(Music)의 합성어로 자유로운 음악을 추구하는 클래식 현악기 구성의 밴드입니다.

클래식 음악 뿐만 아니라 모든 장르의 음악들, 짙은 한국 정서의 곡들과 팝 커버, 월드뮤직 등을 모마드 스타일로 연주합니다. 전국에서 활발한 연주활동을 보이는 전자바이올리니스트 배하림 대표와 2명의 첼리스트 조혜원과 노윤정, 키보드 위초연, 드러머 김도경이 함께합니다.

Momad the String Band is a combination of the words Nomad and Music, reflecting therir pursuit of free spirited, genre-crossing performances with a foundation in classical string instruments. While rooted in classical music, Momad explores a wide range of styles from pop covers and world music to deeply emotional Korean melodies with their own unique sound. Led by electric violinist Harim Bae, who is actively performing nationwidem and features Hyewon Jo and Younjung Noh on cello, Choyeon Wi on Keyboard, and Dokyung Kim on drums.
